- Developed and continues to direct the Value-driven aircraft design with industrial partners
- Developed high-order numerical methods for flow and acoustic analysis with applications to low noise highlift, contra-rotating open rotor configurations as well as engine nacelle acoustic liner optimizations
- Developed efficient optimization methodology based on hybrid surrogate models and memetic optimization methods
- Developed a framework for rapid aircraft sizing based on a variety of models
