Research Interests

Professor Chen is a member of the Shanghai Astronautics Society. He has led a number of key national science and technology projects and projects funded by the National High-Tech R&D Program (863 Program). He has published over 30 papers, obtained eight national invention patents, and a Science and Technology Progress Award at the ministerial/provincial level. He is now dedicated to researches in near space aircraft design and structure technology, including near space aircraft overall design, rigid-flexible combination structure, and structural health monitoring technology.
