CH On January 15th, the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics held the 2024 Annual Assessment Conference and the Third Meeting of the Fifth Session of the Faculty and Staff Congress in the Aerospace Building.
Zhu Xiaolan, the deputy director of the Human Resources Department of the university, presided over the assessment and evaluation of the college leadership team. Members of the college leadership team, including Yi Lilin, the Party secretary of the college, and Hu Shiqiang, the executive vice president, as well as all faculty members attended this meeting. Hu Shiqiang delivered a work report on behalf of the college leadership team. The report summarized the progress of various works of the college in 2024. The college collaborated with Pakistan to develop the world's first lunar exploration nanosatellite, which completed its mission by hitching a ride on Chang'e-6. The achievement led to an audience with the Party and state leaders and was selected as one of the "Top Ten Scientific and Technological Developments" of Jiaotong University. Faculty members won honors such as the First Prize for Teaching and Educating at Jiaotong University, the title of Employment Guidance Master, and the First Prize in the Shanghai Young Teachers' Teaching Competition. The college also won the Excellence Award for Employment Quality and the Gold Award in the National Innovation Competition. More than ten young teachers were approved for talent programs such as the Haiyou Program, the Magnolia Program, and the Super Postdoctoral Program. In combination with future development goals, the report arranged key tasks for 2025.
Members of the leadership team reported on their respective areas of responsibility, and the faculty members of the college conducted a democratic evaluation of the work of the college's leaders at the principal and deputy positions.
Li Wei, the chairman of the Fifth Session of the Labor Union and the deputy Party secretary, delivered a work report on behalf of the labor union.
In the past year, all teachers worked hard and made new breakthroughs in the development of the college. At the meeting, Yi Lilin and Hu Shiqiang presented awards to outstanding teachers, commending their noble professional ethics and excellent professional skills. The college called on all members to draw strength from the examples, base themselves on their own jobs, continuously improve their personal qualities and work levels, move forward hand in hand, and write a new chapter in the development of the college.
In the concluding speech of the conference, Yi Lilin pointed out that in the past year, the college had set its sights on its goals and strived to be the first, achieving new results in multiple fields such as education and scientific research.
